Summary:
The Technical Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers, ensuring
the successful delivery of high-quality software products or technical solutions. This role
requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
● Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and
high-performing work environment.
● Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify areas for
professional development.
● Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members.
● Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team.
● Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends.
● Participate in technical design reviews and code reviews.
● Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
● Contribute to the planning and execution of software development projects.
● Monitor project progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and ensure timely
delivery.
● Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
● Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
● Develop and implement solutions to technical challenges.
● Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including engineers,
product managers, and executives.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA.
● Identify areas for improvement in engineering processes and implement best
practices.
● Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
● 7+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership roles.
● Strong technical expertise in [ Java, Python, .NET, Cloud Computing].
● Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
● Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
